POWER AS OF OLD!
(1 Corinthians 4:20-: For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.)
# The Power of the Holy Ghost is also for emotional and physical self-control
# One of the demonstrations of the power of the Holy Ghost in you should be the ability to say no to your fleshly lust, selfish ambition and desires.
# Power of the Holy Spirit is given first, for self-control and second for you to have dominion over all the works of the devil, it's not for you to control and dominate other people
# One of the greatest demonstration and evidence of the power of God working in us should be a transformed character
# The power of God is made visible in us and through us when people see in us a transformed life and a renewed mind.
# Our character transformation is the greatest demonstrations of the power of the Holy Spirit at work, in us
# The power of His resurrection should also be made manifest in the form of a resurrected character in our earthly body, and not only in speaking in tongues
# The power of God is also the ability to stay humble and selfless when the world and the situation around you are demanding you do the opposite.
# It takes the power of God working in us and through us not to avenge yourself
# It takes the power of God not to think more highly of yourself than you ought to.
# It takes the power of God to put other people's need above your own needs
# It takes the power of God not to defend yourself when men accuse you falsely
# It takes the power of God not to look down on the people you have been sent to help.
# It takes the power of God working in us and through for us not to treat the poor and weak amongst with contempt and disdain
# It takes the power of God to stay genuinely humble
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to walk in holiness and righteousness in this corrupt world of ours
# It takes the power of God to stand for the truth In a world full of lies and compromising lifestyle
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to walk in the straight and narrow way when everyone around you is heading down the broadway
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit not to compromise the true gospel in exchange for popularity and fame
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit for one to chose private success with God rather than public success with men
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit for you to keep on living a christ-centred life in the midst of all the mockery and scorned in our world today
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to say no to the voice of the devil asking you to turn stones to bread, just to prove that you're an anointed son of God
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to say no to human validation and opt for the silent invisible validation of Heaven
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit working in us and through us to love the unlovable
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to live a life of integrity in a crooked and corrupt world
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to pray for and bless those who mistreat and abuse you
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to forgive those who have hurt you, and keep hurting you
# It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to speak well of those who spoke ill of you.
# For the power of the Holy Spirit to work in us and through us, we must first learn to walk in step with the Holy Spirit, that is a renewed mind, and a transformed life and a desire to have a close relationship with the Holy Spirit
(Galatians 5:16-: Keep in Step with the Spirit
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.)
