With a heavy heart, we are sad to announce the sudden passing of our dearly beloved son - Maurice James Raymond Ryan - on the 25 of May 2023.

Maurice was born in Baie Verte, Newfoundland on September 25, 1987. When Maurice was three years old his family moved to Grande Cache, Alberta. Maurice loved his hometown in the mountains and no matter where he went he was always happy to come back to Grande Cache. 

Maurice leaves behind his parents Morris and Trudy, his brother Mason, grandmother Nola Wells, aunts and uncles Sheila (Terry), Ronnie (Lillian), Brenda (Ralph), Craig (Greta), Robbie (Stephanie), Kitty, Bill (June), Bernetta (Aubrey), Craig (Debbie), Doug (Marlene) as well as a large circle of cousins, extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandparents James and Ethel Ryan, grandfather Raymond Wells, step grandfathers Bert Critch and Lewis Hounsell, aunts and uncles Tina (Terry), Eddie, Jimmy, Morria, Rick (Ruby).

Memorial service to be held at Cornerstone Mountain Assembly on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 1 PM.
