Easter is here again and as we celebrate this season, I sense in my heart to encourage us As a community. God is not done with the people of Grande Cache yet, this town will Thrive again. For those of you who stayed behind, some because of circumstances beyond your Control and some because you really had nowhere to go, while for a whole lot of us who Are still here because this is home and so this is where our heart is. Whatever is your reason for staying behind in this wonderful town, I have some good News, it will surely pay off at the end. Jesus said, He is the resurrection and the life

(John 11:25 - Jesus said unto her, I am the Resurrection, and the Life, he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live)

My good people of Grande Cache you see, the resurrection is neither an event nor a place. The resurrection is a person and that person is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. So as we celebrate the man behind the season, I speak His resurrection life into every aspect of This great town of ours in Jesus mighty name.

(OBADIAH 1:17 - But upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions) (John 11: 23 - Jesus saith unto her, thy brother shall rise again)

In the words of Jesus, Grande Cache shall rise again. Businesses in Grande Cache shall prosper and do well again. There shall be jobs again for the people of Grande Cache. Grande Cache Coal shall open her doors again for business. Broken relationships shall be mended again. Joy shall be restored to this wonderful town. Every broken life shall live again. Broken dreams and hope shall be resurrected again. This Easter season I pray for the resurrection life of Christ to breathe hope into every dead situation in your life and family.

This Easter season I pray the resurrection life of Christ into your sick body for total healing in Jesus mighty name. I pray the resurrection life of Christ into that troubled marriage. I pray that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the grave and gave us Easter Sunday, that may that same Spirit raise you from every grave of despair.

May the same Spirit raise you up from the grave of drug and alcohol addictions and every kind of bondage you find yourself in, in Jesus mighty name. It’s my prayer that our beautiful town and all her wonderful people shall experience the resurrection life of Christ Jesus in every aspect of their lives in Jesus mighty name. Can I tell you a secret?

I call our beautiful town “MY LITTLE JERUSALEM” of North America.

Just like Jerusalem, Grande Cache is also surrounded by mountains and this is a wonderful picture of God’s love and protection over our town. So you see we are well covered and loved by God. And one more thing people of Grande Cache,

We are “TOO DEFENDED TO BE DEFEATED”. So let’s look to the future - not with fear any more. Let’s look to the future - not with anxiety anymore. But let’s look to the future with great hope and great expectation, For our town shall rise again.

(PSALMS 125:2 - As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever)
