A PLACE FOR THE BROKEN!
(Luke 19:10-: For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.)
Pentecostal, charismatics churches should be a melting pot, for the broken, the unwanted, the outcast and the rejects in our communities
A place for hurting and dysfunctional people, to find healing,
A place for the voiceless, to find their voice again
A place for the hopeless, to find hope again
A place for the lost, to find purpose and meaning to life
A place for the lonely, to find love and genuine affection
A place for the abuse, to find restoration and wholeness.
A place for the beaten, to be lifted up and healed
The church of Christ should not be a place for social, class segregation, separation and rejection. The church should not be a place for tribal and racial prejudice and discrimination
The church should not be allowed to become a place of abuse, mentally, physically, emotionally and even spiritually, for those whom the Lord, by His Spirit has directed to, come seek refuge whiten her walls. God forbid
The body of Christ should be the safest place in the world today. As the whole groans in pain, and desperation, its time for the church to become the light in the midst of the gross darkness, the whole is experiencing today.
It's time for the church to be the true salt, in this tasteless world
It's time for the church to become the true voice, of -:
Righteousness
Holiness
Integrity and truth.
The whole world is yearning secretly and opening longing for the manifestation of the true sons and daughters of God.
Folks, you're the true agents of change wake up Church
(Romans 13:11-: And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.)
Arise and let your lights shine church
Let your light, shine in true forgiveness
Let your light, shine in love and compassion
Let your ligh, shine in kindness and affection
Let your light, shine in service to your community
Let your light, shine in giving to the poor and needy
Let your light, shine in helping the widows and orphans
Let your light, shine in honestly and integrity
Let your light, shine in holiness and righteousness
(Isaiah 60:1-: Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.)
Light your light, shine not in theological correctness, and eloquence. But in the humility of heart and love
Get rid of falsehood and pretence
Get rid of bickering and backbiting
Get rid of hate and unforgiveness
Get rid of bitterness and slander
Get rid of sin and sinfulness
You are better than this. The world is waiting for you Church
(Romans 8:19-: For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.)
Lastly, remember the church is not a political party
The church is not black or white.
The church is not an exclusive tribal, group or club.
The church my friends is an all-inclusive club. A place for who so ever will let him or her come.
All are welcome all are included. The gateway into the body of Christ is, through the blood of Christ Jesus Christ.
And not your denominational, cultural, or social sets of rules.
(Revelation 5:9-10
And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth.”)
