WHEN MIDNIGHT CAME TOO SOON!!

(sharing in memory of late sister Karen- who left us a year ago )

And to encourage someone out there going through their own midnight experience right now

Psalms 30:5-:

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life:

weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

What do you do, when you don’t know what to do?

# What do you do, when your back is against the wall?

# What do you do, when though surrounded by family and friends you still feel alone and abandoned?

# What do you do, when it seems like your prayers are not been heard by God? And the heavens over you is made of steel ?

# What do you do, when all you can do is watch your loved ones slip away into eternity?

# What do you do, when the doctors, just told you there’s nothing they can do anymore?

# What do you do, when your midnight came a bit too early in the form of terminal illness?

# What do you do, when your midnight came to early inform of the death of a loved one?

# What do you do, when your midnight came too early in the form of a divorce letter?

# What do you do, when your midnight came too early in the form of a child hook on drugs?

# What do you do, when that promise of great hope and a future, is now behind the prison walls of despair and hopelessness?

# When the bitter tears and the pain of betrayal become the only food you can now taste

# When darkness becomes your closest companion and misery and sorrow becomes your go-to and a place of solace?

# When prayers become too hard to utter, cos you’ve lost your voice and strength to fight. But you still believe

# These were the thoughts running through my mind as I sit by a dear sister in the hospital tonight. As I held her hands and watch her slip into eternity

# Just Then I remembered her very words to me a few days ago. When she said to me John (I WANT TO GO HOME )

Suddenly it hits me. I know what to do

# Yet like grandpa Job, we keep trusting

(Job 13:15-: Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:

but I will maintain mine own ways before him.)

# For in Christ alone our hope is found so -:

I will keep on trusting Him

I will keep on praising Him

I will keep on judging Him faithful

I will keep on declaring that, Jesus Christ shall forever be my Lord and my God

IT SHALL BE WELL STILL!!
